of the auxiliary machinery that support crew accommodation ships. In aas a
day-to-day ship crew like crew is very important existence, therefore with a
refrigerator plant preservation of food can be done. With the problem of the
emergence of evaporator ice flower can disrupt the process of operation of the
ship, because it is necessary for the rapid handling of the component disturbance
refrigerator plant so that the process of operation of the ship is not disturbed.
The method used in this thesis is Qualitative Descriptive method with
ultrasound as a method to determine the priority of the problem. The problem
formulation of this research is what factors lead to the occurrence of the flowers -
ice flower, what impact is caused, and what efforts are made to the existing
problems.
From the results of the discussion it can be concluded that the priority of the
problem that causes the occurrence of the ice flowers on the evaporator is
terlaruntya lubrication oil into the refrigerant and misuse. The impact is the
weight of compressor performance, not optimal cooling in the cooling room, as
well as the emergence of the flower - the flower on the evaporator. The efforts
made are prevention, treatment and operating procedurally according to
instruction manual book.
