Fire is one of in the case of emergencies, because even fire on deck or in
an engine room must caused any damage to a ship, machine, the charge, or can
result in casualties.
In the process of the handling of fires on ships there is a need for a body
of knowledge about possible causes of fire and readiness and skill in using a fire
extinguisher. This writer outline in writing a thesis on the implementation of the
fire tackling on a boat that is which there are many ways in its implementation
problems that caused the fire can’t be extinguished.
Methods used in this study was a qualitative methodology with
identification problems used a method of fishbone and fault tree analysis that
produces data in the form of descriptive of the written word of an object that is
researched, in this case collect the data through the interview after fire incident in
MV. Ultra Alpha.
After not been identified not to him the third most common cause the
less either his the handling of the fire that just and blameless one and the
responsibility of our captain built with the sweat of of a ship in leads the captain
method on the process of the extinguishing of fires, hence writers give advice
from which a conclusion taken question that is on fire tackling. With the
resolutions of the a problem it was expected that the handling of fires on ships
safely, effective and efficient.
