Indonesia been surrounded by some develop country with advanced &
structural technology, which influence in the development of technology within
Indonesia. As well inside a company organization exist many assets that very
important that should be recorded in detail and processes properly. Then
computerization system is needed. Generally in the era of excellent service, work
partner of Gold Bridge Ltd must be wanted to get quick and professional service.
Because of that, purchasing process must be managed using informatics
technology. From some partners that writer meet they said they are very
supporting computerization so procurement service process can be done
systematically. Unfortunately computerization system not fully implemented in
Procurement Department so inhibit activity in Procurement Department.
This research aim to determine the performance of Procurement Department
using computerized systems and it’s not using the computerized system and
compression of performance procurement department using computerized system
and not using computerized system. The sources of data used is an
observation,interviews, and research library.
This result found some problem that faced within use of computerization
such as computer specification which is not yet updated, computer systematical
error, management database system error, and lack of HR (Human Resource).
Other than that, profit gained from using of computerization system that can done
document saving more effective & efficient, print out result easy to read by
everyone, working process is quick and practical, also accounting and
procurement department linked with each other.
