Fire Extinguisher is needed to support safety crew of operating a ship,
therefore necessary readiness in the use of extinguisher so that when used able
to minimize the fire.For the achievement of the fire extinguisher optimal, so the
role of officer it is needed in the treatment of extinguisher tube.
Based on writer natural by finding fire extinguisher kind of foam
extinguisher that are unsuitable it is still attached in his.It is extremely
dangerous when there was in accommodation while fire extinguisher who
needed not can be used as the function is fit.There are several factors affecting
happened it optimalan extinguisher including a voyage short also affect in
activities maintenace.A lack of understanding the use of fire extinguisher also
affected in skills the the crew.Like that , various efforts the officers to fix
extinguisher, and implement drill routinely.
Research done by the writer is descriptive qualitative by means of
observation, data collection and interview carried out at regular intervals to
officers above a ship.This is done so that understand the extent of the role of
officer in terms of care tube foam extinguisher.
With the events above so can be concluded that fire extinguisher kind of
foam it is needed above a ship, the role of an officer very seriously impact on
instrument safety s up a ship as well as the awareness discharging fire
extinguisher to crew a ship.
