Delay time is one of factor which cause a company get loss. instead of time tha supposed to be used for charging and discharging process or productive time became unproductive time or there is no activity. A company must be minimize that factor or even eliminated or nothing at all. This things performed in order to make company not bear demurrage caused of delays that happen while charging and discharging process. In this case, researcher use descriptive qualitative writing method to describe object which observed. Researcher involved in searching data process by observing and analyzing fact and characteristic of object and subject which observed directly. This method purpose to get description comprehensively and clearly about the role of barge schedule to reduce delay time in PT. Indexim Coalindo. Submitting data that used in this research is primary and secondary data. Besides that, this research also use observation, interview, and literature study. Researcher use direct and indirect observation. From the result of this research which doing by researcher that factor which stunted delay time is malfunction of charging discharging equipment which located in hopper and reclaimer, thich dust which produced by coal, coal not appropriate with criteria. To solve that obstacle doing some efforts by company which are repairmen and maintenance charging discharging equipment continuously, giving chemical liquid, streamline trucking flow from mining to stockpile and doing blending process.
